Brooke Krekow is a senior attorney at Salmon Bay Law where she assists clients with estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary representation, as well as with prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
Brooke prioritizes listening to each client’s needs, educating them about their options, and then recommending a clear course of action. She enjoys getting to know her clients and learning about their families and loved ones so that she can tailor her advice to their specific circumstances and guide them through each step of their process.
Brooke loves her work because she gets to be of service to clients who are themselves helping loved ones—whether by planning for the future, assisting a family member or friend in need, or taking on important tasks after a death. Each client’s work in these areas is meaningful, and Brooke values the trusting partnerships she builds with her clients.
Prior to joining Salmon Bay Law as an estate planning attorney, Brooke spent eight years as a law clerk at the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, working first for the Honorable James L. Robart and then for the U.S. Magistrate Judge team in Seattle. She also taught at Seattle University School of Law as an adjunct faculty member and worked as a litigation associate at a large Chicago law firm.
Brooke grew up in Seattle and now lives in Eastlake with her family, where she enjoys getting out on Lake Union, watching the local wildlife, and walking her dog. She loves spending time with family and friends, cross-country skiing, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and trying new activities, most recently including horseback riding, rowing, and blacksmithing.
